This is an old development still I made while working on the look of my film. I didn't like it when I originally finished it, but stumbling across it now it's exciting to see it's potential.

These are some gestures as of late. I'm really enjoying using charcoal on newsprint. A1 is great for drawing on, but a nightmare to get good shots of!
If any one in Cardiff is interested in a great professional life drawing environment, do check out the Broadway Drawing School!
30 - 1 minute poses
5 - 10 minute poses
2 minute starting pose, then continuous movement!

Morning! So it's about time I show my film animatic on here so all the previous bits of work make more sense and overall you know where I am heading. It has been a tricky process putting this story together, and my terrible habit of not being able to leave something alone means that this animatic is forever changing. But with the schedule tightening, it will soon be done and left alone (I think!).
In short, my film is about a young guy who wants to take a different path to the standard one set before him, and the comparison between the path he is currently on and the one where he really wants to be.
I hope you enjoy it, I will be uploading progress through the week of different aspects, and hopefully getting some help with sound-design soon!
Have a good week!

This is a turnaround for my main character, I've been keying out recently and ran into some trouble on different angles so I thought this task would help out. Is it bad if he still doesn't have a name? Naming characters is so difficult!
I'm planning on keeping this blog a bit more up to date regarding my production, just so that I am able to reflect on my work and can step back to see where I am at as the different stages are beginning to blur all into one!
